Episode 10: Sealing Technique: Phantom Dragon’s Nine Seals

The elder siblings, Chiyo and Ebizou came out of their comfortable retiring place to help out the Sand Village in saving the Kazekage, Gaara, and heal his brother, Kankuro – who was ironically poisoned by the elder’s grandson, the master puppet designer, Sasori of the Red Sands.

Elder Chiyo is known in the village to be an expert in poisons and she has tried everything she knows looking for an antidote for Kankuro. Unfortunately the poison Sasori used on his victim was something Elder Chiyo has never experienced yet. The medical team of the Sand Village were left to depend on the incoming team provided by the Leaf Village – that consist of Kakashi, Sakura, and Naruto, with the addition of Temari – which made Chiyo quite unhappy.

Luckily, the Leaf Village sent Team Kakashi to assist the Sand Village especially since Sakura has been training for two and a half years to be a medical ninja under the legendary Tsunade, whom Chiyo had admitted to be the one person who might be better than her when it comes to poison (whom unfortunately she despise and would refer to the Hokage as the “slug princess”). Team Kakashi presented great commitment as they barely gave any time for rest in order to get to the Sand Village as quickly as possible, especially for Naruto who is determined to save Gaara as soon as possible.

Meanwhile, Diedara and Sasori got to their hideout a little later than expected that irritated the leader of the Akatsuki. Using a special kind of jutsu, the members of Akatsuki gathered to extract Ichibi (One-Tailed Beast) from Gaara, as part of their ultimate plan of obtaining the powers of the tailed beasts.
